The Ancient Romans got it right! History records that Hydronic Heating was first used to heat the stone floors of public baths as well as the baths themselves.
The principles have not altered since that time. Put simply, Hydronic Heating is the circulation of hot water through radiators or underfloor to heat your room space.
Because it is radiant heat and not just circulating air, the heat generated creates a feeling of well being as it gently warms your environment without the dryness associated with ducted systems. Because you are not circulating air, the whole system is healthy for your family in that pollens, bacteria and dust mites are not spreading around from room to room.
Efficiency is improved because you won't waste money heating moving air. All the heat generated gently warms everything in the room creating a very efficient thermal mass.
